Happy New Year... a month late!

I haven't done very well so far about posting....September to February and nothing? I will do better I am sure with the pending birth of my first grandchild next week! It has been a tough road to this point for my daughter (and a tougher and longer road to follow!) but a rewarding one. There is nothing like the love between a parent and their child(ren).

Have been knitting a lot and am trying to finish the sweater my daughter picked out for me to knit for the baby. It is an adorable hooded cardigan sweater with cables. I need to finish it so she will be able to wear it since I am knitting the 0-3 size, although it looks bigger than 0-3.

Back in the Saddle Again!

Hi. I used to have a blog several years ago called the "Blue Ewe". I really enjoyed it as a means to get to know other knitters. I moved, switched jobs, and have had both of my young adult children leave the nest (which hasn't been an easy affair!), have a lovely gentleman friend, lost a couple pets, gained a couple pets and so on!

I have enjoyed Ravelry and when I poke around there (my user name is "Mommajomma") it makes me wish I still had a blog. So... here I am! I hope I can reconnect with some of my long lost friends from my Blue Ewe days!
